In order to prevent academic plagiarism and its detection in scientific works, in accordance with Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "On Education" No. 2145-VIII, сlause 8 of the second part of Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" No. 1556-VII and stated in the letter of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine No. 1/11-8681 of 08/15/2018 "Recommendations on prevention of academic plagiarism and its detection in scientific works (abstracts, dissertations, monographs, scientific reports, articles, etc.)", is being checked on the prevention of academic plagiarism and its detection in all scientific articles of the scientific journal "Animal Husbandry of the Steppe of Ukraine" using the anti-plagiarism Internet system StrikePlagiarism.com.

The editors inform the authors that they bear full personal responsibility for the authenticity of the content of the articles. In order to avoid incorrect borrowings or the use of third-party research results, we ask authors to adhere to the ethics of scientific citation.

In order to combat plagiarism, the editors take the following steps:

• According to the decision of the responsible editor, the article is checked for the presence of borrowings from the works of third parties without appropriate references to the source using a computer program;
• During the review of the article, the reviewer makes a conclusion about the absence or presence of plagiarism in the article.

If in the process of processing the article it is found that there is plagiarism in the article, the article is returned to the author.
